My books, which are published all over the world, include: The Sunday Times Book of Wine, which also appears as Wine An Introduction (both published in the UK by Dorling Kindersley in 2001 and revised in 2004); Discovering Wine, which is in 14 languages including Korean and which was published in a revised edition in 2003 (Mitchell Beazley in the UK); and Wine with Food, the research for which involved several years of strenuous eating and drinking (plus ça change). Of all the foreign language editions the most satisfying was getting Wine with Food published in French (titled Les Bons Accords). It’s bad enough the Brits thinking they’re wine experts, but telling the French how to match wine to food – mon Dieu! I’m also rather proud of my East European name, Joanna Simonová. If you see any Simonová wine books on your travels, buy them. You may not be able to read them, but I’m sure you’ll get a nice warm feeling from adding to my royalties,
